Flash crystallization is a process in which high-temperature materials undergo vacuum depressurization. Under this pressure, the materials undergo adiabatic evaporation, carrying a certain amount of heat, and the temperature of the materials decreases. At the same time, due to the decrease in material temperature, the materials that need to be crystallized precipitate crystals as the temperature changes.
Flash crystallizers can be divided into DTB flash crystallizers and OSLO flash crystallizers according to their forms. The DTB flash crystallizer is an integrated device with an external circulation pump, and the equipment is compact. The OSLO flash crystallizer consists of an OSLO crystallizer, a flash chamber, and a circulation pump. The circulating material liquid flashes to supersaturation in the flash chamber, and then enters the crystallization chamber through a vertical pipeline to allow the crystals to grow uniformly.
Flash crystallizers have the advantages of low energy consumption and simple equipment. Due to the crystallization kinetics on the surface of the flash chamber, it has strong anti blocking performance.
The flash crystallizer can perform multi-stage flash and cooling according to the material characteristics and processing capacity. Adjust the salt grain size in the circulating clear liquid and the number of crystals discharged from the system by adjusting the speed of the circulating pump motor.
